The College Diabetes Network (CDN) is a 501c3 non-profit organization, whose mission is to empower and improve the lives of students living with Type 1 diabetes through peer support and access to information and resources.

“I didn’t meet any other Type 1 Diabetics my freshman year at CU Boulder. My friends here tried to understand what I was going through, but it was impossible for them to truly understand everything about Diabetes. Which is why I started Type 1 Buffaloes, a group specifically for Type 1 Diabetics or those curious about Diabetes. With this group, I am able to get support from other Diabetics and learn from their experiences.”
