Who are we? Young Leadership Committee (YLC) is a group of ambitious young professionals throughout the Rocky Mountain Region who share the same passion in treating, preventing, and ultimately curing type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications.

Do I need to have T1D to join? NO! Many of our members live with T1D, but we also have members whose partners, siblings, or friends live with this disease. Some members start with no personal connection to T1D but ultimately make great friends with many people in our community.

What does the YLC do? We host fundraising, social, and support events throughout the year as well as participating in Rocky Mountain Chapter events. In 2019 we volunteered at the Dream Gala, had a Walk Team at the Denver JDRF One Walk, hosted several happy hours, and developed the Teen Nation program at Type One Nation.
